Trusted by Property Developers, House builders, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Supermarkets, Loss Adjusters, Civils Contractors and Consultants, ERS’ projects range in value from under £5k to over £1m.
ERS is Constructionline, CHAS and SMAS accredited and Achilles registered.
Services include:
Environmental and geotechnical site investigation
On- and off-site remediation of contaminated soil
Treatment of contaminated groundwater
Invasive weeds survey and treatment
Who we’re looking for…
To complement and strengthen the existing bid team, we are seeking an Estimator to support in pricing site investigation and remediation opportunities. Our ideal candidate will be able to correctly understand and develop client requirements to ensure we recommend and price the correct solution. You will be expected to manage the timely and accurate pricing of work, organise collation and submission of tenders and respond to Clients’ post tender requirements.
We are looking for a proactive, motivated and enthusiastic individual who is keen to drive improvements in our systems forward.
The Role Involves…
Tender pricing: Respond to tender queries, prepare and submit competitive tender packages and quotations
Job costing for bespoke contracts
Assisting in the submission of pre-qualification questionnaires for framework agreements
Analysis of contract documentation
Liaising and negotiating with subcontractors and key suppliers
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Degree qualification in relevant discipline
Contractual awareness – understanding of NEC and ICE contracts
Essential Requirements:
Estimating and job costing experience in the site investigation sector
Strong technical, numerical and commercial abilities
Strong IT skills across all MS Office packages
Fluency in spoken and written English
The right to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence
Desired Experience (preferable but not essential)
Experience in preparation and submission of large scale tenders
Working to established quality assurance systems
Dealing with and managing supply chains
