Geologist / Engineering Geologist

This vacancy is for a full time person, initially on a short-term contract, but with the possibility of extending it on a permanent basis, subject to terms and conditions

ERS is a multi-disciplinary company that undertakes various site investigation strategies and offers bespoke solutions to contaminated soil and ground water problems. Clients range from individual house holders to national and international blue chip companies.

Role

ERS now seeks a dynamic and focussed individual to join our team. The role will involve:

  • Geological Desk Studies
  • Factual Reporting
  • Logging of Soils and Rock to relevant BS and Eurocode Standards
  • Trial Pitting
  • Gas and Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling
  • Site Supervision of Ground Investigation Sites
  • Travelling

Candidate

If you are the ideal candidate you will have:

  • A minimum of a Bsc in Geology/Earth Science or other relevant first degree
  • A minimum of two years experience in the ground investigation/environmental industry
  • IT/data management skills and excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to work with staff and Clients
  • Driving Licence
