Andrew has been a central figure in ERS since 1994, becoming managing director in 1997, and leading a management buyout in 2003. His role in project management is to co-ordinate the multi-disciplinary team, achieving the right balance of technical specialisms to ensure that every project is addressed in the most appropriate, cost-effective manner.

Andrew is a committee member and Treasurer for the Scottish Contaminated Land Forum (SCLF)
Andrew is the sole contractor on the Contaminated Land Advisory Group, established by the Scottish Government.
Jim's comprehensive understanding of soil, water and air media has been developed through 25 years of experience. Jim worked as group technical manager for the international research and development company BCIRA, before joining a UK consultancy as technical director. Subsequently Jim ran his own business before joining ERS in 2004. Jim has overseen numerous and diverse contaminated land projects.
Iain has responsibility for the management of the contracts team. Iain has many years of experience as a contract manager and technical engineer with responsibility for private and public sector projects. Before joining ERS in 2006, Iain was employed with the LAW Group with responsibility for the company’s business plan in addition to contract management functions. Iain's extensive experience also includes a period as a technical engineer with Strathclyde Regional Council, where he had responsibility for the delivery of a section of the M8 motorway.

Andrew joined ERS in 2005 and manages the site investigation team. Duties include design, supervision, project and financial management of ground investigation contracts. The site investigation team have extensive experience in numerous geotechnical and geo-environmental sites, with added knowledge and experience of geological conditions pertinent to contaminated land.
Andrew is an earth science graduate and has previously worked for Raeburn Drilling and Geotechincal Limited.

Tom is a biology graduate and holds a PhD in microbiology. Since joining ERS in 2005, Tom has gained site investigation, remediation design, site engineering and project management experience of many soil and groundwater treatment technologies. Tom manages applied research projects and treatability testing through the ERS laboratory. Projects are also carried out in collaboration with universities and other research focused organisations.

Mark undertakes site investigation, remediation design, site engineering and project management of a wide range of soil and groundwater treatment technologies. He has over ten years of experience, gained in the chemical and environment industries.

Simon’s role encompasses remediation design and project management of in situ and ex situ remediation technologies, ranging from large, multiphase jobs for blue-chip industrial and retail clients, to corporate risk management, commercial and domestic insurance sector work.
Simon brings a scientific understanding to the selection of appropriate remedial options and contributes to ERS' research and development programme.

Jean-Philippe is responsible for the design, supervision and management of the hydrogeological aspects of remediation and ground investigation projects.
Jean-Philippe has over 10 years of experience as a hydrogeologist gained via roles in consultancy, regulatory and academic environments. He has worked on a range of projects including contaminated land investigation and groundwater remediation projects, modelling of the French deep nuclear storage repository for energy giant EDF and the classification of the Scottish groundwater bodies for SEPA.
