Shawfield is the largest commercial and industrial planning consent in Scotland. With a total site area of 65 Hectares, the site is now entering the second phase of a wider masterplan to redevelop the site for a combination of light industry, offices and commercial space.
The site has known issues with COPR (Chromium Ore Processing Residue) as a result of the former land uses. It’s a contaminant that our SI team are very experienced in dealing with; and we were pleased to be asked to undertake site investigation works to facilitate the designs for re-development.
After several exceptionally busy weeks on site; the team are now de-mobilising having safely and successfully completed the work.
